The award-giving body, Nobel Committee that gave President Barack Obama his Nobel Peace Prize said something about why they gave Obama the award:
“We are awarding Obama for what he has done in the past. And we are hoping this may contribute a little bit for what he is trying to do.”
The awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize will also encourage Obama to give more effort into what he is currently trying to do.
